5 days of sunsets, truffles, horses & new friendships
Hey gorgeous,
You asked for the full itinerary, here it is. Five days in Istria, Croatia with a small group of women who are all traveling solo, just like you. No awkward tours, no rigid schedules. Just real connection, incredible food, and the kind of moments you'll talk about for years.
We pick you up from Zagreb and drive to your private Istrian villa. Meet the girls, crack open a drink, and settle in. By the second hour, it'll feel like you've known everyone for years. First dinner together around a long table — phones down, laughter up.
Morning drive to Motovun — the hilltop town you've seen on Instagram but never believed was real. Meet a local truffle-hunting family and their dogs. Follow them into the forest, find actual truffles, then sit down to a feast of truffle eggs, cheese, spreads, and yes — truffle cake. Wander Motovun's cobblestone streets after, coffee with a view that goes on forever.
Explore two fairy-tale hilltop villages — Buje for photos and Grožnjan for art galleries, lavender air, and street music. Then head to Rossi Winery, five generations deep. Prosciutto, cheese, olives and their finest wines on a terrace overlooking rolling hills. The plan was two hours — last group stayed four and a half. You've been warned.
No experience needed — your horse does most of the work. Ride through vineyards, open fields and olive groves while the Istrian countryside opens up around you. After, we head to Rovinj — one of the most beautiful seaside towns in all of Croatia. Wander the pastel-coloured streets, grab gelato by the harbour, and watch the sun dip behind the church of St. Euphemia. End the day with a farewell dinner at the villa.
Breakfast together, last hugs, and a few happy tears. We load up the van and drive you back to Zagreb airport. Someone will say "let's meet again in three months" and everyone will mean it. You came solo — you're leaving with friends for life.
